Who We Are

The TRACE Collective is an organization for transracial adoptees that engages in local and national social justice work. It is a multiracial, multiethnic, intergenerational, gender, ability, and identity inclusive space of being and belonging. We work at the intersection of multimedia arts, cultural work, and transformative healing justice.

The TRACE Collective envisions transracial adoptees actualizing the full potential of our lives through intersectional systems of support that develop self-determination, safeguard human rights, and enable transformative healing justice.

The mission of the TRACE Collective is to build empowerment, visibility, and support for transracial adoptees. We engage in multimedia story-telling arts, conversation, and collaborative social justice projects that affirm the wholeness and complexities of our identities as existing within history, context, and movements for social change. By growing our networks and crafting our own narratives, we seek to create a space that fosters innovative, visionary, and transformative work.
